The owners estimate that more than €1,000 of damage was caused as well as cash taken during the robbery. The man entered the premises after scaling an 8ft wall before smashing a glass door with a large plant pot around 12.18am.The man then stole two cash register tills before escaping on foot after just three minutes inside the premises.A Garda forensics team have carried out an investigation at the premises and they are also studying CCTV footage. A spokesman for the Garden Centre told Donegal Daily they are hopeful someone may identify the suspect on the CCTV.“Someone must know him. He caused a lot of damage and stole the two tills which are worth a lot of money on their own. He made his getaway on foot and it was only after midnight so someone could easily have seen where he went.“We would appeal to anybody who may know this person to contact the Gardai with any information. Small businesses are being broken into all the time and it’s time it stopped,” said the spokesman. SUSPECT CAUGHT ON CCTV BREAKING INTO GARDEN CENTRE was last modified: October 14th, 2015 by StephenShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:burglarydonegalGardaiLetterkenny Garden Centrelast_img
