While there’s little love between brothers Rich and Chris Robinson, there’s no shortage of adulation for their former band The Black Crowes. The Magpie Salute is the new ten-piece band featuring The Black Crowes’ Rich Robinson in addition to former bandmates Marc Ford, Sven Pipien, and Charity White. In addition to these Black Crowes’ alumna, Joe Magistro, Nico Bereciartua, Michael Bellar, John Hogg, Adrien Reju and Katrine Ottosen round out the roster for the band. Over the past few months, the hype around the project has been building as The Magpie Salute sets its sights on releasing its self-titled debut album on Friday, June 9th via Eagle Rock Entertainment. A few weeks ago, the band released a music video for the lead single off of The Magpie Salute, “Omission.” Today, the group has announced that they’re extending their already extensive tour in the fall.The Magpie Salute Releases New Music Video For “Omission”The tour kicks off in July with a date at The Vogue Theatre in Indianapolis, Indiana, on the 26th. From there the band will start an aggressive touring schedule that sees the group on the road for the majority of August, September, and October, through to November 17th, where The Magpie Salute will close out their tour in Atlantic City, New Jersey, at the Borgata Casino.
